Activity : Deployment of Software III

Purpose : To create Home Page link to Google Maps

Procedure :

On this week, I am working on creating the Home Page for PTD webpage. The Home Page is significant as its contents or features include details such as detected location (the coordinates), detected time and date, and also requires Google Maps, which shows the coordinates of the detected location. 

            A webpage is expected to enable users to monitor location detection, current date and time, as well as Google Maps showing current location detection quickly and easily. The development of these features, however, poses challenges. The problems encountered will be further explained below.

Problem Encounter:

In the process of completing creates the Home Page for PTD website page, problem that encountered is I was unable to link the detected location via GPS antenna as there is problem occurs at the hardware of ceramic antenna the GPS board. The problem on the hardware could not be define as I could not detects where the problem actually came from. Even though it is been tested using two modules of GPS Neo-6M thus, the problem still remains the same. 

Conclusion :

To solve the matter arises, I did entered manually the links of Google Maps due to test the condition of the webpage whether the written coding contains no error in it. As for the result, Figure 1.0 showing that the result after written coded for webpage via NotePad++ software is successfully developed. Unfortunately, the hardware of GPS Neo-6M was found to be faulty and, therefore, could not be utilized to automatically detect the location. Therefore, the experiment of testing the webpage continues by manually entering the coordinates into the looping function of program in NotePad++. A further investigation will be conducted to resolve this issue.
